Care facilities are a significant elder care resource. However, they are increasingly becoming a litigation
target which could create liability for the professional fiduciary who has clients placed in them. This
course examines several theories of care facility and fiduciary liability and offers Best Practices to
establish fiduciary diligence and reduce fiduciary liability. Negotiated dispute resolutions will be

She has owned and operated care homes for the elderly for over 23 years, specializing in dementia and hospice care, and is a respected resource in mediating disputes between residents, family members, and care providers. Juliet has earned a B.A. in Human Development and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. She holds professional licenses as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and as a Residential Care Facility Administrator and is a Bar Association of San Francisco certified mediator.
