Amma Akwabi-Ameyaw, Certified Senior Advisor, is the CEO of Visiting Angels Livermore and Fremont, proudly serving seniors and families throughout Fremont, Livermore, and the surrounding areas. Driven by a genuine passion for helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, Amma believes great home care is built on trust, compassion, and strong relationships with both the seniors served and the caregivers who support them.
Amma holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she earned a Certificate in Health Sector Management. Her background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries has shaped her deep respect for quality, accountability, and thorough care delivery, principles she applies to every aspect of her home care leadership.
