B5 – Care Facility Disputes: The Issues And Possible Solutions

Care facilities are a significant elder care resource. However, they are increasingly becoming a litigation
target which could create liability for the professional fiduciary who has clients placed in them. This
course examines several theories of care facility and fiduciary liability and offers Best Practices to
establish fiduciary diligence and reduce fiduciary liability. Negotiated dispute resolutions will be
discussed and the course is offered by attorneys Tracy S. Regli and Frank R. Acuña, licensed professional

Juliet has earned a B.A. in Human Development and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology.  She holds professional licenses as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and as a Residential Care Facility Administrator and is a Bar Association of San Francisco certified mediator.
