Jared Ong oversees portfolio management, trading and technology for Prudent Investors. He has more than 15 years of experience working in the financial services industry and holds a Series 65 license. Before joining Prudent in 2010, Jared previously worked at Capital Group as a business systems analyst where he was integral in improving the trade operations group’s equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange trade processes.

Jared specializes in working with private trustees and professional fiduciaries and co-authored the guide Decoding the Uniform Prudent Investor Act. He is an active speaker and has presented to the Professional Fiduciaries Association of California (PFAC), the Probate Attorneys of San Diego (PASD), ACTEC, and various Estate Planning Councils in California. A graduate from Brigham Young University, Jared holds a bachelor’s in music and has obtained his CFP® certification. In his spare time, he enjoys composing and arranging music.
