Ruben calls upon his experience working in Real Estate and Sales Management for large corporations including Pepsi-Co, the Los Angeles Times and Jack-In-The-Box. Ruben managed the construction of new facilities and maintained existing facilities for Fortune 500 companies throughout the Western United States. Ruben was responsible for the bidding process and related contracts overseeing hundreds of contractors and vendors. His thorough knowledge of the construction process is a resource to the Fiduciary Client when selecting and monitoring contractors to ready the property for sale. Ruben can be a valuable resource to ensure that the estate receives value and high quality workmanship from contractors. Ruben’s eye for construction assists the Fiduciary Client in disclosing and remedying physical conditions which may exist on the estate property.

As a Director of Sales and Operations for large corporations including the Los Angeles Times, Ruben dealt with business owners and corporate leaders in the City of Los Angeles, managing a large sales staff. In his career as a corporate sales leader, he learned how to be a sales professional, promoting the goals of his Clients utilizing the best resources.

Ruben is proficient in Spanish. This expands not only the potential Buyers to a property, but allows Ruben to deal directly with contractors and other vendors.

Mary Makler is a Private Professional Fiduciary who has served as Successor Trustee, Executor of Decedent Estate, Agent for Power of Attorney, Probate Administrator, Conservator of Estate, Conservator of Person, and Agent for Healthcare.

Monica Goel, with over twenty years of legal experience, is a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice focuses on estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, conservatorships, elder law, trust and probate litigation. Her specialty in any legal setting is in handling sticky or complex situations. She primarily works out of the firm’s Irvine and Long Beach offices.

She has been rated “superb” by AVVO, has been named as one of the top estate planning attorneys in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 by Super Lawyers in Trusts and Estates, and is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell.

Monica is a published author in the Daily Journal and OC Lawyer Magazine. She is a frequent lecturer on trust administration, probate administration, court accountings, liability for fiduciaries, and legal ethics in estate administration.

Monica is a member of the PVP panel for the LA Superior Court and is routinely appointed by the court to represent incapacitated persons and advise the court regarding appointment of conservators.

She was previously an adjunct professor at Cerritos College in the Certified Paralegal Program and is currently on the Trustee Advisory Committee therein. In addition, she was an adjunct professor at UCI in the paralegal program in Estate Planning. 

Monica received her B.A. in History from UCLA, and her J.D. from the University of Southern California.

Jennifer Bennett is a Care Consultant with The Key home care and has been in the care management and home care space for over nineteen years. 

Jennifer services all of California and has been a trusted advisor to the legal / financial disciplines. Jennifer works closely with families and clients in their time of crisis and need. Jennifer supports her clients with comprehensive assessments; care plans and consults with them on arranging licensed and bonded caregiving. She enjoys helping seniors age in place and thrive, wherever they call home. Protecting vulnerable seniors and special needs clients is her ultimate goal. 

Jennifer serves on the board of the Desert Estate Planning Council and holds the chair of Vice President. She is also an active member of the Riverside and San Bernardino Estate Planning Councils.
