This session discusses RUFADAA, CFAA, and the Privacy Act in relation to a fiduciary’s ability to access digital assets. I will briefly describe non-crypto digital assets, before discussing the specifics of inventory, custody, valuation, and distribution of crypto assets.

Jared Ong oversees portfolio management, trading and technology for Prudent
Investors. He has more than 15 years of experience working in the financial services
industry and holds a Series 65 license. Before joining Prudent in 2010, Jared previously
worked at Capital Group as a business systems analyst where he was integral in
improving the trade operations group’s equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange trade
processes.

graduate of McGill University. Bequest, which closed a round of venture funding in June
of 2023, supports digital asset succession and protection for professionals and
institutions.
