We will explore two conservatorship appointment hypotheticals. We will conduct a mock hearing for each hypothetical. Judge Glen Reiser (ret.) will act as the calendar Judge and prepare remarks and questions which will not be provided to the panelists in advance. Yevgeny Belous and Gregory Lederman will play the roles of the petitioners counsel and court appointed counsel. They will address the probate notes; make arguments to support their positions on various issues; and respond to Judge Reiser’s questions and remarks. The audience will be provided with the probate notes and a comprehensive supplement addressing the notes.
