Margaret received her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 1996 and was admitted to the California State Bar the same year.

Since 2000 Margaret has focused on all matters within the probate court, estate planning, trust and probate administration and litigation, as well as conservatorship and guardianship matters. Since 2008, she has been on the San Diego’s Court Appointed Attorney panel and has been appointed by the court in over 100 matters.

Margaret has been on the Probate Attorneys of San Diego (PASD) Board of Directors since 2018 and currently holds the office of Treasurer. She chaired the Prop 19 Study Group. The current PASD committees in which she is active are: Bench/Bar Committee; California Conference of Bar Associations (delegate); Handbook Committee; Technology Committee; and Membership Committee.

In her spare time, Margaret enjoys running and driving in parades. She has completed 14 full marathons, over 55 half marathons, and 3 Ragnar Relays (200 mile team relay). Her favorite full marathon was Berlin 2015. She also owns a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, Indy 500 Pace Car (Festival Car), which she drives in parades, usually carrying the Pearl Harbor Survivors. Not surprising, her favorite half marathon was the Indy Mini, which included running a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
