Paul Greenwood and Scott Rahn, Founding Partner of national fiduciary litigation law firm RMO LLP, will discuss financial elder exploitation from both a criminal and civil perspective, highlighting common misconceptions, criminal and civil penalties in court, issues of undue influence, prevention, and key points that can be applied to the fiduciary practice.

Paul Greenwood is an experienced lawyer with over 40 years of experience, dually qualified as a UK solicitor and California attorney, working for over 22 years in elder abuse felony criminal prosecution. Currently, Mr. Greenwood is a criminal justice at large board member of the National Adult Protective Services Association and has testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Aging. He has presented keynotes for national and international organizations in the USA, Canada, Singapore, UK, and beyond. He has been designated as an expert witness regarding red flags of undue influence by which a perpetrator has exploited an older or dependent adult and is currently a member of Aging Today Editorial Advisory Committee and of the National Center on Elder Abuse Advisory Board. Paul was recently presented with the Edwin Miller Jr. Lifetime achievement award by the San Diego Deputy District Attorneys Association.
