This presentation will provide an overview of what actions California’s Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act covers, with a particular focus on actions for elder financial abuse. The presentation will discuss what constitutes elder financial abuse and how to litigate such actions in order to protect an elder or dependent adult who is suffering from such abuse, and in certain circumstances, how a conservatorship may be used to prevent the abuse.

Lindsey F. Munyer, a Partner at Keystone Law Group, P.C., is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization), and has an LL.M. in Taxation. Lindsey has experience litigating trust and estate matters, and is adept at handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, mediation, law and motion and trials, as well as representing fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts.
