Limited Liability Companies – The New Fiduciary Frontier

More property owners, business owners, taxpayers, and fiduciary are using limited liability companies than ever before.  Proposition 19, in particular, is causing a dramatic uptick in real property held in limited liability companies, and the limited liability companies, in turn, being held in living trusts or irrevocable gift trusts.  Licensed professional fiduciaries should be familiar with these entities and how they affect conservatorship, probate, and trust administration.
