Nuances of Real Estate management and challenging sales in a COVID environment

The role of the fiduciary is to maintain and maximize the value of any real estate owned by the Client. The real estate asset is there for the benefit of the Client, as needed, whether for its rental income, or for the equity in the asset. Subject presentation focuses on understanding, preserving, and maintaining the real estate asset(s) through understanding of governing laws, proper hands-on property management, especially under the new rules enacted since the start of the current pandemic. The panel consisting of a retired Judge, an attorney, and a property manager, will discuss real life experiences through case studies all fiduciaries encounter, and should know how to deal with.

The Hon. Clifford L. Klein (Ret.) joined Signature Resolution after a distinguished career as a superior court judge and as a prosecutor in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. At Signature Resolution, he focuses on matters involving probate and trusts and estates, taking a calm and reasoned approach to help parties solve their most difficult disputes.

Judge Klein began his career as a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles County, where he prosecuted a variety of criminal cases. After becoming a superior court judge, he presided over the implementation of the nation’s first full-time juvenile mental health court, which addressed cases involving juvenile delinquents with serious mental health issues.
