Anthony S. Cangelosi regularly works with entrepreneurs, investors, CPAs and attorneys to solve complex problems involving the valuation of all types of assets in market transactions, litigation proceedings, partner disputes, economic damages and taxation matters. His professional practice is dedicated to asset valuation and appraisal services. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has been accredited in both Business Valuation and Financial Forensics by the American Institute of CPAs. He holds the Certified Valuation Analyst credential conferred by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser, as designated by the American Society of Appraisers in the Real Property discipline and has been certified by the California Office of Real Estate Appraisers at the Certified General level, the highest certification level available to appraisers in California. In addition, he is certified (retired status) by the California State Board of Equalization as an Appraiser for Property Tax Purposes and also as an Auditor-Appraiser for Property Tax Purposes. He is an appointed Probate Referee in Santa Barbara County. He holds a Real Estate Broker’s License as conferred by the California Department of Real Estate.
Mr. Cangelosi’s professional experience includes time spent as an inventory management analyst at a manufacturing firm in Edenkoben, Germany. He began his appraisal career as a Los Angeles County Deputy Assessor and also served in the same capacity in the County of San Luis Obispo. During this time, he earned certifications from the California State Board of Equalization as an Appraiser for Property Tax Purposes as well as an Auditor-Appraiser for Property Tax Purposes. Prior to his current position with TEDESCO, he worked as a tax accountant at the Santa Maria-based Public Accounting firm of Andrews Galloway Rosenlof & Associates.
