Dr. Shadi Gholizadeh

Shadi Gholizadeh, PhD, MPH, MSc, CMC is a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as Director of Memory Care Programs at TheKey. Dr. Gholizadeh has research and clinical interests in aging in place, coping with and adapting to chronic illness and cognitive decline, health intervention development with a focus on behavior change, caregiver stress and burnout, and psychometrics/psychological assessment. Dr. Gholizadeh works with family and professional caregivers in training and support contexts.

She holds degrees from Stanford University, the London School of Economics, and UC San Diego, Dr. Gholizadeh completed her clinical internship at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and a postdoctoral research fellowship at McGill University. She is volunteer faculty at the UCLA in the doctoral assessment clinic and maintains a small private psychotherapy practice.
