For nearly 20 years, Noelle Valentino has advised prominent collectors regarding tailored fine art services. Before transitioning to the insurance industry, Noelle worked in auctions, museums, and galleries, where her responsibilities included building relationships with high-profile clients, as well as research projects and appraisal writing. Presently, as Chubb’s Senior Fine Art & Collections Specialist, Noelle travels throughout the Western United States to conduct risk assessments and recommend customized solutions intended to safeguard art, jewelry, timepieces, wine, and other passion assets. Noelle’s expertise extends to an array of additional collections considerations, inclusive of loss prevention, conservation, transportation, storage, appraisal, and advisory services. She examines each locality’s unique exposures and often draws upon established professional relationships to design holistic collections strategies for clients.
Prior to joining Chubb, Noelle was the Associate Director for Trusts & Estates at John Moran Auctioneers, where she reviewed noteworthy consignments on behalf of private clients, professional fiduciaries, attorneys, and estate settlement officers. She also oversaw the appraisal division, producing USPAP compliant reports for estate tax filing, insurance scheduling, and legal purposes. Previous to this role, Noelle’s career in the art world spanned institutions including the Smithsonian, Christie’s auction house, the Getty Museum and UCLA’s Hammer Museum. As a result of her wide-ranging experience in the art world, she possesses a keen firsthand knowledge of the markets for diverse types of tangible personal property.
Noelle holds a master’s degree in Art History and is an active member of the Appraisers Association of America. She is involved in several estate planning councils and serves on the board of the Fiduciary Round Table of San Gabriel Valley. As a founding member of Art Muse Los Angeles, in her spare time she enjoys leading private tours of museums, galleries, and cultural spaces throughout the city. When she’s not engaging with art, Noelle likes pursuing outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and sailing.
