Vincent Nguyen

Dr. Vincent Nguyen is a Board Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Specialist with Board Certifications in Geriatrics and Family Medicine. He serves as the Palliative Program Medical Director, providing clinical and administrative oversight of the in patient and out patient palliative services at HOAG Hospitals. He also serves as a special project consultant at Salus Homecare for both palliative and hospice. He is a volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCI School of Medicine and co-founded the Palliative Medicine Fellowship program to train physicians the art of hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Nguyen has published multiple articles in the Journal of Palliative Medicine and co-authored several chapters in two books on end-oflife care published by the McGraw-Hill Companies. He is the founder and continues to co-chair the Orange County POLST Coalition since 2009 which serves as a catalyst for timely advance care planning conversations through community awareness and education.
